Highlights from the Girls and Women in Sports Day
Hosted by the UC Sport Administration Program and UC Athletics
On Sunday March 2, SW Ohio-area girls in grades K-8 were invited to campus to learn about sport administration as a college degree and sport as a possible career. They heard a presentation by Sport Administration faculty, alumni, and Athletics staff, took a tour of UC athletics facilities and campus, and attended a UC Women's basketball game. Parents and coaches were also in attendance to take advantage of the full day which was sponsored by the Dean of the College of Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services.
Highlights from the Black History Month Sports Panel
Leaders in the Sport Administration industry gathered to discussed hot topics and provided valuable insight of the opportunities and obstacles in the industry.
