Campus Resources
Student Services Center
The Student Services Center in CECH has been recognized for outstanding advising quality. All students are assigned an advisor who is there to help your student succeed. Advisors can also connect students to valuable resources across campus like study-abroad opportunities, campus jobs, and internships. All students are required to meet with their Academic Advisor throughout their program to ensure they are meeting degree requirements and are on track to graduate.
Resident Education and Development Office
Resident Education and Development: The University of Cincinnati’s Resident Education and Development (RED) office is responsible for quality of life in the residence hall communities, including student support and daily operations within the housing realm.
Learning Commons
The UC Learning Commons provides free academic support to assist students in their courses, including tutoring, academic coaching, and Success Skills workshops.
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (34 C.F.R. Part 99 – commonly known as FERPA) is a federal law that governs the release of and access to student education records. FERPA affords students certain rights concerning their education records. Students can learn how to set up delegated access at the One-Stop Student Services website.
