Empowering Agents of Change: HDCE Bachelor of Science Program

Embark on a transformative journey with our Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Community Engagement (HDCE) program, where passion meets purpose and students are nurtured to become dynamic agents of change in society. Students will be involved with community programs and non-profit organizations in urban settings, driving social change and improvement for communities, families, and individuals. By combining strong theoretical foundations with hands-on learning experiences, students acquire the necessary skills to make a positive impact on various communities, especially those with underrepresented populations. This program explores the growth and development of individuals across the lifespan, covering physical, neural, cognitive, and social-emotional aspects. Furthermore, students can tailor their skills to specific areas of interest through an embedded minor, enhancing their flexibility and expertise.
