CECH Transfer Scholarship

The College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH) at the University of Cincinnati is pleased to offer the CECH Transfer Scholarship. Eligible students must meet the below criteria and submit the Transfer Application by the stated deadline in order to be considered.

  • Fall Deadline: June 15th
  • Spring Deadline: October 15th
  • Summer Deadline: February 15th  

Applicant Requirements

  • Applicants must be transferring from another institution
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Must have been offered admission to CECH
  • Must confirm admission and enroll as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours) upon entering CECH

The following programs are not elgible for the CECH Transfer Scholarship or the Forever Bearcat Scholarship:

  • Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (online)
  • Bachelor of Science in Substance Abuse Counseling (online)
  • Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Care and Education (online)

Forever Bearcat Scholarship

The College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH) at the University of Cincinnati is pleased to offer the CECH Forever Bearcat Scholarship for students transitioning from the regional campuses. Eligible students must meet the below criteria and submit the Change of College form by the stated deadline in order to be considered.

  • Fall Deadline: June 15th
  • Spring Deadline: October 15th
  • Summer Deadline: February 15th 

Applicant Requirements

  • Applicants must be transitioning from either the Blue Ash or Clermont Campus
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Must have been offered admission to CECH 
  • Must confirm admission and enroll as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours) upon entering CECH

Teach Grant

The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides up to $4,000 per year in grants for graduate and undergraduate students in specified majors who intend to teach full-time in high-need subject areas for at least four years (within 8 years of graduation) at schools classified as serving low-income students.

Specified Majors- Undergraduate

  • Middle Childhood Education – Language Arts & Mathematics
  • Middle Childhood Education – Language Arts & Natural Science
  • Middle Childhood Education – Mathematics & Natural Science
  • Middle Childhood Education – Social Studies & Mathematics
  • Middle Childhood Education – Social Studies & Natural Science
  • Secondary Education – Integrated Sciences Secondary Education
  • Special Education

Specified Majors- Graduate

  • Curriculum and Instruction (high-need licensure areas only)
  • Special Education (licensure areas only)
