Discover the University of Cincinnati's Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice program! UC offers an interdisciplinary exploration of criminal behavior, crime prevention, and the role and function of the U.S. criminal justice system. Real World Experiences
Students have numerous opportunities to connect and network with local, state, and national criminal justice professionals at events (such as the annual Criminal Justice Career Expo), panels and presentations (offered by the School of Criminal Justice and our student-led groups - Criminal Justice Society, Alpha Phi Sigma, the UC student chapter of the American Correctional Association) and more! During your final year, students will gain hands-on experience working in criminal justice agencies doing applied work or research for the senior field placement.

With research at the forefront of understanding crime, the Criminal Justice program provides unique opportunities for all students to be trained and engage in research during their time at UC. With a front seat in the classroom to the innovative, timely, and impactful research that guides policy and practice in the field, students will research alongside some of the nation's leading researchers in criminal justice - our faculty.
Education Without Borders
Students can join the faculty-led Criminal Justice in Scotland study abroad program. Spend 10 days in Scotland with two Criminal Justice faculty, immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Scotland while learning about their criminal justice system! This program includes a tour of a working Scottish prison, observation of summary criminal court proceedings in the Glasgow Sheriff's Court, and meetings with criminal justice, forensics, and cybersecurity faculty at Abertay University in Dundee.
