District 11: Southwest Ohio Science and Engineering Expo

The Southwest Ohio Science and Engineering Expo (SEE) strives to highlight the efforts and accomplishments of Southwest Ohio’s young scientists and engineers. SEE, hosted by the University of Cincinnati in collaboration with the Ohio Academy of Science, is open to all students in grades 5-12 residing in Hamilton, Butler, Clermont, Preble, and Warren counties. This year’s fair will be hosted on March 11, 2023, in-person at Tangeman University Center on UC’s Campus.

2023 UC SEE Results: State Qualifications and Special Awards

Results from the 2023 District 11 UC Science and Engineering Expo are now scheduled to post on Wednesday, March 15th at or around 3:00 PM EST. This slight delay will allows us to confirm that all students were properly registered and accounted for from Saturday so that everyone is eligible to qualify for the State Science Day and all our Special Awards. We appreciate your patience and look forward to sharing results right here on the UC SEE website on Wednesday. If you have any questions, please email ucscifar@ucmail.uc.edu.

COVID Policy and Virtual Options

For our in-person event on March 11th, we will be implementing COVID safety measures, providing masks for attendees, hand sanitizing stations, and strategic event setup to ensure minimal close contact. The Ohio Academy of Science respects and is concerned for the health and welfare of all students interested in participating in Science Day. To accommodate those students who wish to participate but are uncomfortable with a live, in-person event, the Ohio Academy has created a virtual event under District 18.  You must express your interest to participate in the virtual event by registering for the District 18 Science Day. Please contact Rickey Terrell (ucscifar@ucmail.uc.edu) for further information.
