Graduate Ambassadors
The CECH Graduate Student Ambassador Program is a service organization for advancing the relationship between the students, alumni, faculty & staff, and colleagues of the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH). Ambassadors provide a valuable service by representing the College, providing graduate student’s perspective on classes, and communicating the program to potential graduate students.
The Ambassadors assist in:
- Forming a connection with CECH and incoming graduate students throughout the year.
- Partipating in on-campus events and Webinars.
- Helping to build a robust graduate community within CECH and serve as a liaison with students and the CECH Recruitment Team.
The roles and responsibilities of a CECH Student Ambassador include, but are not limited to, the following:
- CECH Recruitment Events (Webinars, class visits)
- CECH College Events (Orientation)
- Promoting the College through specified social media outlets.
- Participating in the annual Phone-A-Thon.
- Communicating via phone and/or email with prospective students.
- Mentoring incoming graduate students.
