Build on your education and become a licensed teacher for middle or high school education. The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) program is designed to improve educational practices by generating, using and critically analyzing research in learning and teaching. This program is prepares educators for any professional seeking expertise in designing, implementing and evaluating instructional programs.
The CAEP Accredited program prepares students to teach in Middle Childhood Education or Secondary Education. In this two-year program, can expect to receive their master's after one year and take courses for the licensure during their second year.

The Curriculum & Instruction program provides a hybrid class schedule. Some courses are offered online while others are taken on campus. Majority of classes taken cover the master's degree and licensure.

Real World Experiences
The C&I program prides itself on the immersion of school-based experiences students will receive throughout the program. During the first three semesters of the program, students will be placed in classrooms under the guidance of an experienced mentor. Placements will be within the same school to experience growth throughout. These experiences lead to a student teaching role that exceed state requirements.
