The University of Cincinnati’s Middle Childhood Education program is ideal for educators who are dedicated to enriching the educational experiences of young learners in grades 4 - 9, with a special emphasis on inclusive instruction. In this dual-licensure program, educators are meticulously prepared to cater to students' diverse needs across a range of educational environments. Graduates of this program attain eligibility for special education intervention specialist licensure, empowering them to assist students with mild to moderate needs from kindergarten to grade 12. Furthermore, students aspiring for middle childhood education licensure have the flexibility to focus on their interests by selecting two concentration areas from mathematics, natural science, social studies, and language arts.
