Field Placement
Field Placement is designed to allow seniors in Criminal Justice the opportunity to gain practical field experience prior to graduation. In order to complete the requirements for a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, seniors must register for the field placement class (CJ 4095), which requires 112 hours of internship work with a chosen agency and a culminating essay that incorporates the student's internship experience with knowledge gained throughout their classes in Criminal Justice. Students should meet with the field placement coordinator prior to the semester in which they wish to register for field placements in order to secure placement at an agency.
