Our doctorate of Counselor Education is the perfect fit if you are committed to the development of research and teaching potential, in addition to developing skills that enable you to provide service and leadership for diverse populations, with an emphasis on underserved groups. The program has a focus on prevention, community-based school and mental health services, and substance use. The program centers on coursework, research, and enhancement of teaching skills. Recent graduates have found positions in research, teaching and leadership, and service in different community-based mental health organizations.
