The Southwest Ohio Science and Engineering Expo relies on many qualified teachers and community members employed in STEM-related fields to serve as volunteer judges. In accordance with OAS rule, all participating schools are required to provide judges for the event. Interested individuals have the option to serve as a general judge in one of the 13 project categories. Companies or organizations sponsoring a special award may also serve as judges.
Volunteering to Judge
The University of Cincinnati is planning for the 16th annual Southwest Ohio District Science and Engineering Expo (SEE) on March 14, 2020. The competition is open to students in grades 5-12 residing in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, Preble, and Warren counties. We are inviting you to join us in judging this unique event.
Training will be provided to all judges and breakfast, lunch, and complimentary parking will be provided the day of the event. Judges should plan for a half-day commitment starting at 8am and ending at approximately 1pm.
If you are interested in becoming a SEE judge for this year’s event, fill out the online registration form.
If you have questions about becoming a SEE judge, you may contact one of the judging co-coordinators Bryn Endres or Emma DenBleyker via email or by calling 513-556-4267.
