We encourage the use of our virtual ASL Lab as a resource in your learning!

ASL LAB HOURS

  • Monday and Wednesday
    1:00 PM to 2:00 PM  
  • Tuesday and Thursday
    12:00 PM to 3:00 PM

When campus re-opens, the physical ASL Lab will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays and is located in the Teachers/Dyers Complex in room 255C. Tutoring and is available and free of charge. There will also be multiple unit-specific test reviews, activities, games, and events in the ASL lab that students may sign up for.  Upon entering the lab, students will sign in on the sheet provided.  The ASL Lab also offers a wide range of recording equipment and additional resources.  ASL Lab is a Deaf-friendly space, thus has a voice-off policy upon entering the lab.

Lab Policy

The ASL Lab is a deaf friendly space, therefore, no voicing is allowed. Students are expected to use ASL or written communication only. Students in violation of the voice-off policy may be asked to leave the lab. 

ASL Library

The ASL lab has a variety of materials available for students to use in the lab to assist with ASL skills development and language acquisition. Stop in for help finding a resource that will address your needs!
