Success at UC starts with knowing where to turn for help. Whether you need tutoring, accommodations or guidance on your academic path, we're here to support you.

Tips for Academic Success

  1. Attend class consistently to stay on track and engaged.
  2. Check your UC email and Canvas daily for important updates and deadlines.
  3. Create a study routine that balances focused work with regular breaks.
  4. Connect with classmates and instructors to build a strong academic support network.
  5. Ask questions early and seek help when you need it—don’t wait until it’s too late!

Academic Support Tools

Strong students use their resources effectively, including:

  • Learning Commons: Access free tutoring, study groups, academic coaching, and workshops dedicated to building academic skills like motivation and time management.
  • Instructors: Attend office hours, ask questions, and let your instructor know if you are having a difficult time in the class.
  • Accessibility Resources: Access accommodations to remove barriers to learning, whether related to a disability, medical condition, mental health, or other challenges impacting your academic experience.
  • Academic Advising: Meet with your academic advisor to discuss academic concerns. Advisors can also connect you with campus resources to support your success.
