Students

Something you must do is create or re-activate your ProjectBoard account. ProjectBoard is the way you will register your project, submit your ISEF forms before you start your project or research, and upload information about your work. An account must be established before you start the submission process. Create a ProjectBoard account by going to the Ohio Academy of Science website to start the process.

If you are a student at a school that has a science fair teacher, you will need to know the class number so that you will be connected to your teacher through ProjectBoard.

If you do not have a teacher to work with, you will need to email someone at the Ohio Academy of Science to get a special class number. Send the email to Info@ohiosci.org. Say that you need a class number, because you do not have a teacher in a school to guide you. The link below provides more information for independent students.

Before you start work on your research or project you must submit several permission and registration forms. They are called the OAS Consent and Release Form (Ohio Academy of Science), OAS Combined Approval Form, and the necessary ISEF Forms (International Science and Engineering Fair).  This year the OAS Combined Approval Form should be used instead of ISEF forms 1, 1A, and 1B. You can find the links below.
