Academic Programs & Opportunities for Students
The Arlitt Center is closely aligned with the ECE-Birth-Age 5 Online program, the ECE PK-Grade 5 licensure program, and the Human Development and Community Engagement Program. The Arlitt Child Development Center is the University of Cincinnati laboratory preschool, which demonstrates best practice in early childhood education. Arlitt teachers mentor students coming through these programs and many faculty and staff of the Arlitt Center serve as instructors. Arlitt also houses the Education for Environmental Sustainability undergraduate certificate and partners with faculty and graduate students in Educational Studies.
