Jewish Education Certificate

The University of Cincinnati Certificate in Jewish Education immerses students in the theory and practice of Jewish Education. Intended to support teachers and educational leaders from diverse settings, this certificate will assist participants in deepening their subject area expertise, developing their pedagogical stance, and building inquiry approaches to their teaching and learning. Coursework offers investigations of reflective practice and Jewish education content areas (curriculum, leadership, text study).

Program Objectives

Grounded in an inquiry stance, which asks you to reflect on your own practice and learning, this certificate engages you in experiential, hands-on learning opportunities.

Career Options

A graduate of this certificate can apply the concepts and knowledge gained to various career paths, including in Jewish education and community leadership positions, such as principals, teachers, and other leaders.
