National Hispanic Heritage Month
During National Hispanic Heritage Month, we honor and celebrate the cultures and contributions rooted in both Hispanic and Latino American countries. From September 15 - October 15, CECH shared stories of those who represent the Latino and Hispanic groups and their achievements.
2021 National Heritage Hispanic Month Nominees
Name: Michael Odio, Associate Professor
CECH Affiliation: Associate Professor, School of Human Services
Accomplishments: Michael Odio is an Associate Professor within the School of Human Services. He teaches courses offered within the Sport Administration program. Aside from teaching students, Odio focuses on providing a space and representation for Latin and Hispanic students. Odio has attended events hosted by the Greater Cincinnati Latino Coalition, The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and other volunteering-focused groups.
