The Master of Public Health graduate program at the University of Cincinnati prepares students to become leaders in the health profession by promoting health awareness, educating communities on health solutions, and working with the community and world leaders to prevent disease.
The Health Education and Promotion concentration is a comprehensive program where students gain the skills and knowledge needed to address complex health challenges through education and promotion strategies. From designing health campaigns to implementing behavior change programs, graduates emerge as leaders in the field, equipped to create meaningful change.
The Master of Public Health Program was ranked 89th out of 195 public health programs and school by the U.S. News and World Report, 2023.

Opportunity For Additional National Certification
Students that complete this degree program also have the opportunity to obtain an additional national certification; the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
The Certified Health Education Specialist examination is a competency-based tool used to measure possession, application, and interpretation of knowledge in the Seven Areas of Responsibility for Health Education Specialists.
