About

Our Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education is a four year program that will prepare you to teach young adults in grades 7-12.  Through course work, field experience and internships, you will learn the skills necessary to meet the challenges and changing needs of schools and communities.  After successful completion of our program, including passing appropriate Ohio Assessments for Educators exams, you will be eligible to apply for an appropriate state of Ohio teaching license.

The School of Education at the University of Cincinnati is consistently ranked as a top institution in the field of Education. Most recently, US News and World Report placed it in the top 100 Best Education Schools (2016). The University of Cincinnati and all regional campuses are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
