A Message from our Dean

Dean Larry Johnson

Dear CECH Family,

Our country has been transformed these past few weeks with the spread of COVID-19. To keep us all safe, government officials have placed restrictions that prohibit us from gathering in large settings. The university and CECH have embraced these restrictions and we are committed to keeping our students, faculty, and staff safe, while at the same time providing meaningful opportunities for students to carry on with their studies. Although faculty and staff are working remotely, the functions of the university and the college continue be carried out.

This is a very fluid situation that changes daily so we understand that many of you have questions about your studies, projects, graduation, and the future of our university. As information becomes available we share it across the college as soon as we can. On these pages, you will find more information and links to resources that might answer your questions and concerns. We will update them as more information becomes available.

Please know that we are absolutely committed to creating a safe environment and providing meaningful opportunities for students to learn. I continue to be impressed with what everyone is doing to make this work and to be the best experience it can for our students. I am confident this commitment will continue.

As things unfold, we will get the information out as soon as we can. If you have any questions that are not addressed, please do not hesitate to reach out to myself or any member of our team using the contact information provided here. Please be safe and healthy and know we are committed to getting through this disruption successfully.
