Concept Mapping Methodology Symposium

May 8-11, 2017 at UC and Cincinnati Children's 

Concept mapping is a mixed-methods research approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative data collection methods of brainstorming, card sorting, and ratings with the multivariate statistical techniques of multidimensional scaling and cluster analysis to create a data-driven visual representation of thoughts or ideas of a group. Kane, M., & Trochim, W. This five day symposium will be a way for participants to COLLABORATE INTERNATIONALLY, provide opportunities to explore INCLUSIVENESS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, and learn from TOP-NOTCH FACULTY/RESEARCHERS from the University of Cincinnati AND Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center while familiarizing learners with concept mapping methodology. The symposium includes a comprehensive introduction to understanding, designing, managing and facilitating a concept mapping project with expertise from specialists visiting from Sweden!

This is an opportunity to receive 1 Graduate Credit for participation.

The ARC invites you to the workshop Building a Shared Future for Arabs and Jews in Israel: A Hand in Hand Workshop. 

This is a workshop on bilingualism, tri-religious pedagogy, and addressing conflict and history in Israeli mixed classes. Facilitators: Noa Yammer and Mohamad Marzouk.
