Feed your Mind Lunch Gathering: Dialogue Across Difference, with Kathy Simon & Itzel Hayward
As teachers and facilitators, we want to nurture dialogue across difference, promote mutual understanding, and navigate hard conversations about race that may come up.  How do we manage all of this while leading groups? In this interactive workshop, we’ll work on ways to respond to challenging comments in ways that promotes empathy and deeper understanding.

Feed your Mind Lunch Gathering: Dr. Dana Harley will present "Photovoice as a Tool for Informing the Development of a Culturally Sensitive Behavioral Health Measure for Vulnerable Adolescents."

Dr. Dana Harley is an Associate Professor in the College of Allied Health Sciences, School of Social Work at the UC. Her research examines hope and well-being among children, adolescents, and their families. Dr. Harley is an expert in photovoice, a participatory action research method. She has led numerous community engagement projects with vulnerable populations in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region.

The ARC invites you to the workshop Building a Shared Future for Arabs and Jews in Israel: A Hand in Hand Workshop.

This is a workshop on bilingualism, tri-religious pedagogy, and addressing conflict and history in Israeli mixed classes. Facilitators: Noa Yammer and Mohamad Marzouk.
