The Online Early Childhood Learning Community at the University of Cincinnati is pleased to announce two options for completing the coursework for your CDA. All of the coursework is online, which means that our program is flexible to fit into your schedule. The CDA coursework is available for Family Child Care, Preschool, or an Infant Toddler focus.
2 semesters of coursework = CDA Ready!
Why choose UC for your CDA coursework?
- Online classes mean flexibility
- A name you trust for quality and convenience
- Discount for 5 or more staff enrolled from the same center/employer
- Qualified college instructors experienced in the field of early childhood development
- Support for completing your resource file
- Online orientation for new students/one stop contact for centers
- Advanced Standingn Credit in the Associate degree program in early childhood at UC
CDA Options
Two options exist for completing your CDA coursework. The option you choose depends on how you wish to pay for your coursework.
Using TEACH Early Childhood Ohio Funds
If you plan to use TEACH Early Childhood Ohio funding, you must enroll in our Associate Degree program. Although you are under no obligation to complete the Associate's Degree, this step must be taken so that your TEACH funds can be applied to your tuition bill. For more information on admission requirements, deadlines, and how to apply to UC, click here. Standard UC Tuition rates apply.

Paying for the Class Without TEACH Funds
If you are not eligible for TEACH funding, we have an option that is designed just for you to make obtaining your CDA more affordable than ever. Our CDA Workshop contains the same information and provides the same number of training hours at a fraction of the cost. This workshop model is not eligible for TEACH funding or federal financial aid. The cost of the workshop is $999.00 per student. We offer a discount of $100 per student for centers who enroll 5 or more students into the same CDA workshop session. Payment for this option can be made by check, credit card, or invoice to your employer, and can also be paid all at once or in three easy payments.
