What is Database Management?
This database management certificate is intended to provide an in-depth understanding of database technologies, is ideal for new or existing database or data administrators, and covers the full spectrum of database topics in order to prepare students and practitioners to be knowledgeable in database concepts, terminology, design methods and techniques.

UC Advantages and Special Opportunities
The courses required for this certificate are part of the bacheor's degree in information technology program offered at the University of Cincinnati. This program is currently one of only 18 ABET accredited IT undergraduate programs offered around the world. The courses are applied in nature and students will not only learn theoretical concepts but also hands-on computing skills. Feel free to contact the IT department head for details on the current specific technologies being taught in the courses.
Freshman Admission Requirements
This program is open to all students with a bachelor's degree with cumulative grade point average of 2.0 and the desire to succeed in college. Although admission is open, students accepted into the program must meet the academic standards of the program to advance to upper levels of study. Admission for this certificate program is limited to those that are currently in the United States, as this program is not available to pursue on a full time basis.
