Office of Innovative Technology and Learning Design
In order to support the eLearning efforts in both online and traditional classes, the Dean’s Office established the CECH Office of Innovative Technology and Learning Design (OITLD). This office unites instructional design, information technology, and eLearning initiatives across all four schools. OITLD's mission is to unify best practices and enhance resources to provide a student-centered learning experience. OITLD offers both school-embedded supports and centralized resources for furthering innovations in teaching and learning.
Technology Support at OITLD hosts a range of quick-links to common sites and services provided by CECH. We also supply a range of work-order request forms for contacting our department.

Instructors, if you’re tired of downloading Word documents from the Grade Center, tracking changes, and uploading them again, try Blackboard’s Inline Grading feature! You can grade and add feedback to your students’ Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or PDF files without leaving the Grade Center. Students can then download their assignments with your comments as annotated PDFs. Check out the tutorials below for details.
Kaltura is a streaming video server that allows both instructors and students to add videos or screencasts to many items in Blackboard, including announcements, assignments, discussion boards, blogs, and more. Check out the tutorials below to find out how to use Kaltura in your courses.
