On Tuesday, April 2, 2013, the third annual Information Technology Expo will be held in the Great Hall of Tangeman University Center.
The event is expected to attract over 1,000 attendees and will feature two guest speakers and senior projects on display by undergraduate students in the Information Technology program, also seniors in the Computer Science program will be presenting as well.
The projects represent the breadth of knowledge covered in the IT program and highlight the two primary area of focus: software application development and networking and systems as well as elements of the program’s secondary areas of focus: database management and digital media.
Casey and Justin won their category (Personal Productivity & Health Care Group) and best overall with their innovative application called SyncMei : An iOS 5 Mobile Application which Integrates Location Awareness with Popular Social Networking Feeds.
