IT Professor Named a Notable Hispanic IT Professional Nationally for 2nd Consecutive Year

For the second consecutive year, Adjunct Professor and Advisory Board Member Hector Medina in the School of Information Technology was ranked a “Top 100 Most Influential and Notable Hispanic Professional in the Information Technology Industry" at the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) event in Silicon Valley this past October.

Of the recognition, Medina says, “I am sincerely honored to have been selected as a recipient of the 2017 “HITEC 100” award. We work in a great company. I want to thank Macy’s for giving me the opportunity to work in some "Innovation Initiatives" with an awesome team, and for allowing me to continue my work with at local and national diversity nonprofit organizations.”
