IT Expo 2016 a Resounding Success

The sixth annual Information Technologies Expo was held this spring on April 12, and brought in 13 sponsors, and increase from eight last year.  Western and Sothern was featured as the title sponsor, with Karen Chamberlain, the company‚Äôs CIO, as the keynote speaker.  The Expo featured 36 projects presented to an estimated 800 attendees throughout the day.  The projects were presented by undergraduate seniors in the IT program and local high school students, spanning four different categories: Networking/Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Mobile Application Development, and Web Applications Development.
