International Random Acts of Kindness Week Feb 9-15
Step out of your normal routine or comfort zone and attempt a new random act of kindness each day of #RAKWeek and help make UC a happier, nicer place.
The College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH) celebrates all the ways the world is made a little kinder and encourages students, faculty, and staff across campus to join in for #RAKWeek. Help us increase the sense of community at CECH and UC!
Help CECH kick off #RAKWeek on Monday, February 9, 2015 between 9am-1pm in TUC’s Plaza on Mainstreet with some free hot chocolate and coupons from various campus town eateries.
There are countless ways to bring kindness to the world around you. Take a few minutes out of your day today to write a note of appreciation to someone you haven't thanked in a while. Beautify the campus and pick up any trash you spot on your way to class. Let someone go in line in front of you. For additional ideas, follow CECH posts on social media and/or visit the link below.
What does kindness mean to you?
Share your stories of kindness and read stories of kindness from the community via our Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram using the hashtags #CECHkind and #RAKWeek2015. In each post, a picture or video of the act of kindness is also encouraged.

The College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH) develops community difference makers (police officers, educators, counselors, wellness coordinators, IT pros who help others, etc.). Community. The cornerstone of our programs. The heart of all we do. Community. It’s who we are.
