Children, Youth and Environments (CYE) Journal
The CYE journal is a peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary, online journal, highlighting the physical environments where children and youth live, learn, work and play. The journal values the capacity of children and young people to meaningfully participate in the processes that shape their lives, and publishes papers from distinct viewpoints, varied approaches, and diverse cultures and regions around the world.

Journal of College Literacy and Learning (JCLL)
The Journal of College Literacy and Learning (JCLL) welcomes material related to advancing scholarship on reading, writing, and study strategies at the postsecondary level. JCLL is published annually by the College Literacy and Learning Special Interest Group of the International Reading Association. It provides a forum for the exchange of information regarding research, theory, and practice.
Dr. Connie Kendall Theado, Assistant Professor of Literacy is the Co-Editor of JCLL.
Journal of Education for Students Placed at Risk (JESPAR)
Aims and Scope
The Journal of Education for Students Placed At Risk (JESPAR) is the only academic journal to date which provides quantitative and qualitative research focused exclusively on improving the education of students placed at risk. JESPAR publishes literature and report reviews, research articles on promising reform programs, and case studies on "schools that work"; in doing so, JESPAR facilitates communication among all the stakeholders--researchers, policymakers, and educators--who are actively involved in thwarting the academic failure of students placed at risk.
SaCo: a Forum for Multicultural Education
A joint journal of Salahaddin University and the University of Cincinnati
SaCo: a Forum for Multicultural Education welcomes material related to advancing scholarship on student centered pedagogies in K- postsecondary classrooms from diverse cultural settings. SaCo is published annually through a partnership between Salahaddin University in Erbil, Iraq and the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH.
School Science and Mathematics Journal (SSM)
Aims and Scope
School Science and Mathematics (SSM) is the official, peer-reviewed, research journal of the School Science and Mathematics Association, founded 1901. SSM is an international journal which is published monthly, October through May, emphasizing research on issues, concerns, and lessons within and between the disciplines of science and mathematics in the classroom, as well as integrated STEM education. SSM is published by Wiley.
Dr. Shelly Harkness, Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at the University of Cincinnati, is Co-Editor of SSM. Associate Editors include Dr. Jon Breiner and Dr. Sally Moomaw, also faculty members at UC.
