The Action Research Center invites you to the workshop Building a Shared Future for Arabs and Jews in Israel: A Hand in Hand Workshop

This is a workshop on bilingualism, tri-religious pedagogy, and addressing conflict and history in Israeli mixed classes. Facilitators: Noa Yammer and Mohamad Marzouk.

How can Israel’s Arabs and Jews break down the barriers of mistrust and separation between them? One organization is starting with the youngest in Israeli society. Through Hand in Hand’s growing network of Jewish-Arab integrated schools and communities, thousands of Arabs and Jews in Israel come together every day to develop the theory and practice of shared living. Hand in Hand changemakers Mohamad Marzouk and Noa Yammer will explore the personal and institutional challenges and successes that come with living together as well as Hand in Hand’s broad vision for a shared and equal future for Arabs and Jews in Israel.

Time: Monday, March 20th, 2017. 5-7pm. 

Location: Teachers College, Annie Laws 407

Dinner will be served.
