Gabrielle Isaza

Gabrielle is a Research Associate with the Institute of Crime Science (ICS) as well as a doctoral candidate in the School of Criminal Justice at the University of Cincinnati. She has been working within ICS since 2013.  Her primary duties include technical writing, grant writing, analyzing and presenting police-related data as well as creating, collecting and analyzing survey research. Gabrielle is currently working on her dissertation focused on urban university policing.  She graduated from the University of San Diego in 2011 with a double major in Psychology and Sociology, and earned her M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati in 2012.  Her research interests include situational crime prevention, campus policing, police reform, and police effectiveness.  More generally, Gabrielle is interested in fostering the practice of police-academic partnerships.
